Their astonishing second album ‘Nothing Will Grow In The Soil’ explores the role ancient yew trees occupy in our culture, spirituality and imaginations. Alongside this, Kitty Whitelaw’s forays into the deeper end of her register and the dark churns of McGivern’s double bass – strengthened by a raft of digital effects – build a crushing, nightmarish landscape. 

Nothing Will Grow in the Soil is available as a deluxe tree trunk coloured vinyl with risograph printed credits/broadside. 

The band kick off their UK tour today in Cambridge at NCI Social Club, supporting Alison Cotton. Remaining dates are below:
