THE 51st EDITION

of CLARA MANN'S RIFT

A one-of-a-kind piece, designed by Tilly de Verteuil and handmade by Nathan Sherwood in the state51 Atelier to celebrate the release of Clara Mann's debut album Rift, which was released via state51 earlier this year

Housed in a two-part case, the outer presenting a drypoint etching plate made by Clara, which was used to create the prints for the 50 standard Atelier editions and still holds the ink from these prints

 

The outer case is wrapped in a screen printed subtle dot-print gradient, recalling the quiet constellation of marks found on car windows - a nod to Clara's deep attachment to her car

 

The inner casing is printed with Clara's handwriting, "Bisous, Clara x" and the tracklist is revealed when the case is opened

 

 The record rests inside this inner case in a delicate Japanese tissue paper inner sleeve, drawn out with a ribbon mechanism

 

12” transparent seaglass lathe cut in real time by our in-house cutter First Cut Vinyl

 

The vinyl is accompanied by the zine of Clara's drawings and notes, as well as a limited edition risograph print of "The Lighthouse", also drawn by Clara when making the album
