Modern Dance Gold, Vol. 1 is a delicate assembly of skittish drums, blasts of droning noise and whispers of ambience courtesy of Valentina Magaletti (Vanishing Twin, Tomaga, Moin), Matthew Simms (Wire, It Hugs Back) and Sarah Register (Talk Normal, War Bubble, Kim Gordon).
We're thirlled to share more of the visual language of this release with the stunning projector-processed visuals for Backwards Dance by Louise Mason: taking crowdsourced movement clips and contorting them into an expressionist gloomscape.
A visceral yet indefinable listening experience: we'll be welcoming the band to the state51 factory on Saturday 11th of June for their first live show followed up immediately by a show on Sunday 12th of June at The Shacklewell Arms. Ticket and record links below:
