Better Corners - Modern Dance Gold, Vol. 1
Better Corners is a new group featuring Valentina Magaletti (Vanishing Twin, Tomaga, Nicolas Jaar), Matthew Simms (Wire, Slows, It Hugs Back) and Sarah Register (Kim Gordon, Talk Normal, War Bubble).
To celebrate Valentina Magaletti's residency at Cafe Oto, we are proud to present Better Corners' stunning debut album 'Modern Dance Gold, Vol. 1' as part of state51's award-winning 51 Editions series.
Each record is cut by hand on a lathe. The transparent discs are engraved with the 51 Editions motif, and are individually painted and foiled according to their serial number.
Editions 1-50:
The sleeves are handmade in the state51 Atelier and are finished with book cloth-taped edges and a letter-pressed plate featuring artwork and maker info. This edition comes with an riso print of the original artwork.
The 51st edition is presented in a stunning bespoke box, designed and made in the Atelier:
