Yesterday we shared Abstract Concrete’s latest single and official music video for ‘Ventriloquist/Dummy’, taken from their upcoming self-titled album

The music video, made by Ewan Jones Morris in collaboration with Louise Mason and Charles Hayward, perfectly encapsulates the absurdist world the band inhabit.

On Tuesday we welcomed art-rock sextet Blue Bendy to the label and released their latest single 'Mr. Bubblegum', out now via state51

 

Notoriously hard to pigeon-hole; on 'Mr. Bubblegum' their singular art-rock sound combines with elements of synth pop and midwest emo. The accompanying tongue-in-cheek music video is based on a popular dating app, as the viewer is navigated through parodied profiles of the band members, tentatively putting themselves out there online.

‘Mr. Bubblegum’ is available wherever you listen to your music, and you can watch the accompanying video by Michael Julings on Blue Bendy’s Youtube channel
