Lots of state51 goodies to share with you this week..

We kicked off our Singularity series with a track from Siavash Amini

On Tuesday we announced the launch of our Singularity series, which features the best experimental artists producing long-format pieces: demanding tracks for long attention spans.

Starting with Siavash Amini’s 18 minute experimental track Not Yet Plant-Life, No Longer Flesh and accompanied by releases from Shit and Shine and Alison Cotton.

Mary Anne Hobbs described Amini’s track as a “A very special piece - I would implore you to listen to the whole piece in full at your earliest opportunity… you must promise me!”

Each 12” lathe-cut record is single-sided, engraved and hand finished in the state51 Atelier as part of a super limited run.
